Ray retired from DLA as the Deputy Director, Subsistence wherein he managed and directed the acquisition, quality, logistics, emergency/contingency planning, and worldwide support for the variety of subsistence items to include troop-support items, rations, produce market-ready items, and foodservice equipment. Subsistence support is a $4.7 billion business with operations running 24/7/365 worldwide with direct delivery contracts throughout the world, in war zones, and frequent contingency and emergency support requirements.
Additionally, Ray managed DLA’s Construction and Equipment Operations, Fire & Emergency Services, Special Operations, and Container Prime Vendor Programs.
With over 40 years of experience in government contracting and international logistics, Ray's specialties are clearly extensive.
